Stars announce 2011/12 team

The Bilingham Stars are delighted to announce their 2011 / 2012 squad.

The inaugural Stars team features some familiar names to Billingham fans, but also contains players who came through the Newcastle Vipers academy.

Stars manager Allen Flavell is confident that even after missing two seasons, the new look Billingham side will make a competitive return to the English National League Division 1.

"We have a great blend of experience combined with some very enthusiastic younger players, align that to the size of this seasons squad, we aim to be competing in the top half of ENL 1.

The Stars will be play a thirty eight game campaign featuring a cup competition against Whitley, Solway and Flintshire.

Allen Flavell is also relishing the prospect of six high octane games against local rivals Whitley Warriors.
"The ENL games will be twice home and away, plus a home and away cup game".
